Tomáš NOVÁK
Tomáš is the founding partner at NOVÁK & Co. Tomáš is the former Head of Bird & Bird's office in the Czech Republic and he had worked at Clifford Chance in Prague before joining Bird & Bird. Tomáš also worked at Bird & Bird London.
Tomáš is recognised as a leading lawyer in the area of mergers and acquisitions. He has provided high-profile advice in a range of industries, including: media, food processing, mechanical engineering, transport and logistics, telecommunications, construction, utilities, real estate, and holding companies.
Tomáš was a member of a working group at the Ministry of Justice of the Czech Republic, involved in the preparations for the implementation of cross-border merger regulations.
Tomáš studied at the School of Law, University of West Bohemia, Plzeň.
He speaks fluent Czech and English.
Radka KARTNEROVÁ
Radka has experience in particular in the area of financing, projects, employment law, media law and energy sector. She has been involved in a range of financing for national and cross-border projects in the Czech Republic and private equity investments.
Within her professional practice, she has also advised on real estate, contractual and corporate agenda, personal data protection and others.
She has commenced her career as an attorney in the global firm DLA Piper, where among others she led its project & finance practice group.
Radka graduated from the Law Faculty of the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice and the Master’s study programme ¨International and European Law¨ of the University of Amsterdam.
Radka speaks Czech, English and Slovak. She is also able to communicate in German.
